Jon G. Kaye is a composer and artist from Los Angeles. A graduate of USC's Thornton School of Music, he contributes to eclectic projects: remote string recording for film music and pop music, collaboration with fiery hip hop/jazz quartet YONI and with Alpha Pup Record's The Breathing Effect, and writing/performing his own works.
In 2019, Jon accompanied DJ/Producer Gryffin on violin with an orchestral ensemble at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. In 2023, Jon earned first prize in the 27th Annual USA Songwriting Competition for his song We’re Lucid Dreaming in the Dance/Electronica category. Jon’s music has been featured on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic and is regularly played around the world.
Jon arranged and recorded strings for the Emmy Winning HBO documentary Alabama Snake (2020) and for Netflix’s The Pez Outlaw (2022). Jon has also worked in the music department for titles such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, The Ice Road, and Lansky.
